Electric Annealing Lehr

Introduction

The MHC series of kilns, for industrial activities, crafts and workshops are designed to meet the needs of professionals who want to make glass annealing of artistic product.
The structure is made of metal sections which provide maximum strength. The excellent thermal insulation is ensured by the use of panels of high density ceramic fiber that completely cover the baking chamber.

The rapid attainment of temperature is due to the use of removable and independent resistors.
The resistors are placed inside the refractory dielectric tubes. The control of the baking cycles is controlled by a control panel, located next to the furnace, composed by a programmer, a general switch and a functioning power light.

Working doors

The furnace is closed by one big door that has two different smaller doors in the same steel frame. Each door consists in a steel frame invested with ceramic fiber duraboard 50 mm thickness.

The smaller doors (upper and lower) are used to fill each level of the annealing furnace independently from the other level. The perfect closing of the doors ensures the uniformity of the temperature at each point of the chamber. The loading and unloading of the furnace is much facilitated by the opening of the big door. The door are closed by manual screw knob.

Technical description

  • Construction: light steel welded sections.
  • Finishing: colouring with flame powders.
  • External covering: stainless steel sheets without any other surface finishing. Covering naturally ventilated to reduce the surface temperature and to avoid the vapors condensing.
  • Doors: Hinged on the sides.
  • Insulation: Material in ceramic fiber with anti-dust finishing.
  • Aeration: It is made through air plugs with closing on the roof and in the lower part.
  • Heating Elements: Heating elements placed in the four sides (save on the door and on the back side) – two heating zones.
  • Control panel: Placed on a side of the annealing lehr (on the right or on the left according to the needs) and provided with a programmable regulator

Switching on in the needed times

  • Programming of 10 different curves of 20 segments
  • Regulation of baking speed
  • Break on the temperatures desired
  • Automatic stop Setting of the temperature limits
  • Energetic consumption
  • Special refractory supports inside the furnace in refractory.
